Gambling

Gambling...What is it...

In western societies Gambling is 'wagering money or something of material value on an event with an uncertain outcome with the primary intent of winning additional money or material goods'
So is gambling classed as being bad...does it harm any one...
Gambling is part of many people daily life. There there many types of gambling such as betting on:-
  • horses
  • dogs
  • football matches
  • dog fights
  • national lottery

Many people have argued that there isn't anything wrong with gambling...but if u cannot afford to gamble is part of being bad...Some may agree and say gambling when you cannot afford it is bad because the person has to sacrifice things that do not belong to them or even people....
So is gambling OK as long as you have enough money to feed the habit...

swearing

I agree with the post called swearing ...I understand where the blogger is coming from when she says it hard to define whether swearing is classed as bad or not....but who actually defines which words are good and which are bad ... as the blogger says, young children are swearing more and more as the years go by... so will swear word be the norm in the future...

Immature Girls and Boys!
I agree with the post called immature girls and boys...I believe that most people that have attitude problems tend to be attention seekers. I think that these particular people do this this to make a scene so everyone can look at them and also to make people become scared...Deep down I believe that these people are crying out for help, because most of the times these people are suffering from something they cannot deal with...

Telling lies with integrity

We have all told a lie some time in our lives, but they do we do it???

Why LIE...It is because you want to hide your real intentions...Is it because you wish to protect or surprise a person...
People tell lies for many reasons, It could be to get you and others out of trouble, to get a job or so that someone will stay with another person,I.E such as in a relationship.
Many people tell lies to hide the real person inside, making themselves seem better than they really are.
Are telling lies to protect someones feeling classed as being bad...Is it OK to tell small lies or are all lies seen as bad...

Bad Cinema

The film 'KIDS'
I think that the film KIDS wasn't as bad as i thought it would be...it was a bit graphic but the things shown in the film are part of everyday life, we just don't realise what children are really doing...I think it was good in showing the consequences of unprotected sex...it also showed the effects of taking drugs and drinking too much well...Personally i think the film maker showed what some children are actually doing and i think it would made parents think about what their children are really up to...

Badndits and Outlaws

Through out history there has been many bandits and outlaws from Robin Hood to Bonny and Clyde, but can all bandits and outlaws be put in the category of being bad...for example Robin Hood, he stole from the rich to give to the poor, would he classed as being bad even though he was helping the poor...

Infidelity

I think that Infidelity is classed as being bad and many people would agree...Lying, taking risks, scheming and using a persons vulnerability to your advantage fall into the Infidelity category. Infidelity is bad because you are betraying loved ones and the other person can get very upset when they find out and it breaks down families.

Body Modifications

Are Tattoos and Piercings that bad...

Body Modifications are seen as being bad to many people. Some religious people see tattooing as a sign of being bad because it has been written that marking the body in any way is a sin in one way or another. In many countries Body Modifications are signs and symbols that represent what tribe, village or area of the country they belong too. Nowadays Body Modifications such as piercings and tattoos are part of fashion and some people do it to be different or what groups they belong too. I don't class tattoos and piercings are being bad.

Religion

Is being too religious bad...

Personally, I think being to religious is not classed as being bad. Religion is rules and regulations people live by to get them through everyday life...Religion teaches people how they are supposed to live life from things written many years ago.

Not everyone is religious and people that follow a religion believe that it is good for them to live that way and to choose to live their life that way for a particular reason...

Masturbation

Is Masturbation really bad?

Does it fall in to the category of being bad...Personally I don't really think It is bad compared to other things such as violence. It doesn't harm anyone, does it? Its the persons choice if they choose to masturbate as long as they don't do it in public, I don't see a problem with people dong it in the comfort of their own homes....

Smoking

Smoking, is it classed as being bad...

Smoking has become a major part of fashion recently. It is portrayed as a good thing in many action films such as Sin City, Lethal Weapon and James Bond movies.
Even though smoking can harm yourself and others people still continue to do it. Everyone knows the risks of smoking on your health but It is the peoples choice if they continue or take up smoking.
